Alcatel SP25XX is an IP phone that supports two or more SIP lines (depending on the model) and features modern functions such as:

  • color display;

  • call transfer;

  • call hold;

  • Do Not Disturb mode;

  • phone book, etc.

Before setting up the IP phone, you need to create a SIP account for your Ringostat personal account. You can learn about creating a SIP account at this link.

IP Phone Setup

Before setting up the phone, ensure it is turned on and the internet cable is connected. The internet cable should be connected to the LAN port of the Alcatel SP25xx base unit. Detailed instructions on how to connect the phone to the network and internet are included with the phone in the factory box.


How to Find the IP Address

Press the Menu key to check the phone's IP address > then Status > then Network.

The IP issued is the local IP address of your phone.


IP Phone Setup via Web Interface

1. Enter the obtained IP address in your browser's address bar and navigate to the phone's web management interface.

IMPORTANT! The phone and computer must be on the same local network.

Default authorization credentials:
Login - admin
Password - admin

2. Then go to the System - Sip-Accounts tab.

Select the line you want to configure and fill in the following fields:

  • Username - SIP account login;

  • Display name - any name or account extension number;

  • Authentication Password - SIP account password;

  • Server Name - sip.ringostat.com;

  • Backup Proxy Server Port - 5060;

  • SIP Proxy Server Address - sip.ringostat.com;

  • SIP Proxy Server Port - 5060.

Then make sure to check the box next to the Activate field.
And save the settings.

If you have configured everything correctly, the line status will show Registered.


The setup is now complete. Make sure everything works correctly by making an incoming and outgoing call.
