Integration with Facebook Messenger

To set up integration with messengers, there should be at least 1 sip account connected to the Ringostat Smart Phone.

ATTENTION! Integration can only be done with one service. If you already have an integration with a third-party service (for example, a CRM), you need to disconnect the third-party integration before integrating messengers with our service.

To activate integration, a few simple steps should be made. Before that, make sure you have “administrator” access to your Facebook account.

  1. Go to the Messenger — Messenger beta section in your personal Ringostat account.

2. Click the “Continue with Facebook” button.

3. Enter the login/password for the Facebook business page account, and click the “Log In” button.

4. Then, provide access to the Ringostat application: click the "Continue as" button.

5.1. Select the business page you want to connect to the messenger integration and click "Next".

5.2. If you do not have a business page, you can create one, and then continue the setup process.

6. Then make sure all the settings are enabled: they should have the value “Yes”. After that, complete the activation: press “Done”.

7. Click "Ok".

After that, you will be redirected to the integration settings page in Ringostat, with the fields already filled in.

8. Done! The setup is complete, and you can start working with messages via Facebook Messenger

After successful activation, a communication widget will appear, when clicked, a button with the Facebook Messenger icon will appear. With its help, the visitor will be able to contact the chat.

If a Callback widget was not created via Ringostat earlier, this widget wil be displayed on the site when the Facebook Messenger is activated.

And if you click on it, you will see all the communication channels available.

The integration with Facebook Messenger is now configured:)
