Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the newest version of Google's popular web analytics platform. It is a powerful suite of tools that helps you to understand how people are interacting with your website and how you can improve your user experience. GA4 provides powerful insights into your visitor’s behaviour, including information about their activities on your website, the types of devices they use, and the geographic locations of your customers.

With Ringostat and Google analytics 4 integration, you will be able to

  • send call events from a callback widget with an attachment to the visitor

  • send call events from the callback widget with an attachment to the visitor

  • send messenger events (chat conversations) anchored to the visitor

  • send events from static call-tracking and direct calls without attaching them to your visitors (can be enabled in integration settings)

  • set up conversions for the desired call types to track Callback, target calls, unique calls or other call types.

How to set up and activate

To set up Google Analytics 4 integration with Ringostat

1. In the Ringostat APP, go to Integration → Google Analytics 4 → Activate

2. Go to Google Analytics 4 in the section Admin > Data Streams > Your stream

3. Copy the "MEASUREMENT ID" and paste it into the Google Analytics 4 integration page in the Ringostat APP.

3. Go to Google Analytics 4 under Measurement Protocol API secrets

3.1. When creating a key for the first time, you must first agree to the user terms and conditions:

3.2 Click on the "Create" button of the API key, and give it the name "Ringostat"

Copy the API key you created and paste it into the Google Analytics 4 integration page in the Ringostat cabinet APP

4. In the Ringostat APP, activate the integration and press the "Save" button

IMPORTANT!

As soon as the integration is enabled, events from Ringostat will automatically be sent to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics displays the event data with a 24-hour delay. In other words, if there is a call, it will appear in Google Analytics reports 24 hours later.
The exception is the Real Time report, where you can see recent visitors and their events.
