Gigaset C530A IP is a phone that combines VoIP and landline telephony, supporting multiple simultaneous calls, energy-saving functionality, and an answering machine with audio recording.
For more information about the device, please read the manufacturer's manual.
Before starting the setup, please create a SIP account in your Ringostat dashboard. You can find instructions on creating a SIP account here.
Setting Up the SIP Phone
Before configuring the phone, please make sure it is powered on and that an Ethernet cable is connected to the device. The cable must be plugged into the LAN port of the Gigaset C530A IP base unit.
Finding the Phone's IP Address
To access the web interface, you first need to find the IP address of the DECT base station. There are several ways to do this:
Press and release the registration button on the base station — the handset will ring and the base station's IP address will appear on its screen.
Open a browser and enter the following in the address bar: gigaset-config.com
On the handset, go to Menu → Settings → System → Local Network → IP Address
SIP phone settings web Interface
1. To open the settings interface enter the phone's IP address in your browser's address bar.
The settings page will open and prompt you to enter a password.
The default PIN is 0000. You can change it later in the DECT base station settings.
2. You can also change the display language for the web interface. Select the preferred language from the dropdown list, then confirm both the password and language by clicking "OK".
