Grandstream GRP2601 is part of the GRP carrier-grade IP phone series. It is a two-line model featuring an updated settings interface for a more comfortable user experience.
Before starting the configuration, you need to create a SIP account in your Ringostat personal account. You can learn how to create a SIP account by following this link.
How to Find Your Phone's IP Address
Press the round button located between the navigation keys to open the phone menu. Select the Status section.
In the next menu, select Network Status.
Write down the IP address displayed on the screen and enter it into your browser's address bar.
IMPORTANT! The phone and the computer must be on the same local network.
The default login is admin.
The access password can be found on the sticker on the back of the device.
SIP Phone Configuration
1. After accessing the phone's web interface, go to Network Settings → Ethernet Settings, apply the following settings, and save:
Internet Protocol — IPv4 preferred
IPv4 Address — DHCP
2. Next, specify the STUN server and port. Go to Phone Settings → General Settings:
STUN Server —

3. Now add the settings required for SIP account registration. Go to Accounts → Account 1 → SIP Settings:
SIP Registration — Yes
Local SIP Port — 5060 (If multiple phones are used, each must have a unique port: 5060, 5061, etc. — increment by +1 for each additional phone.)
SIP Transport — UDP
4. Once the network settings are in place, proceed to add the SIP account registration parameters. Go to Accounts → Account 1 → General Settings and fill in the following fields:
Account Active — Yes
Account Name — SIP login or extension number
Name — SIP login or extension number
SIP Server —
sip.ringostat.comOutbound Proxy —
sip.ringostat.comSIP User ID — SIP account login
Authenticate ID — SIP account login
Password — SIP account password
After applying these settings, the phone should register with the Ringostat PBX. You can verify registration under Status → Account Status.
Configuration is now complete. Make sure to test both inbound and outbound calls by placing a few test calls. 😉
