Before using the application, you must create a sip account to log in.

You can read the instructions on creating a sip account by following this link.

After you have created an employee, added a sip account for them and enabled a workplace for the account in the application, you can proceed to the next step — installing the Ringostat Smart Phone.

Technical requirements for using the application:

Windows

Windows version 10 and above

64-bit operating system

Minimum 4 GB of RAM

CPU load preferably not more than 60%

MacOS

Version 10.15, MacOS and above

Minimum 4 GB of RAM

CPU load preferably not more than 60%

Internet Network

Minimum internet speed - 128 kbit/s, but recommended not less than 5 Mbit/s

Low latency (ping) and connection stability

Step 1. Downloading the application

Download the application file from the link.

Step 2: Installing the application

Run the downloaded .exe (for Windows) or .dmg (for Mac OC) file, which will automatically appear in the Downloads section of your PC:

After opening the file, accept the terms of the program.

Check the item "Create a desktop shortcut" (to add a shortcut to the desktop) and "Start application when user logs in"

After that — click Next:

Complete the registration of the application: click “Install” and then “Finish”:

Step 3: Authorization in the application

Before authorization, make sure that your SIP account is no longer active anywhere (for example, in another softphone) or use a new one. You can’t register the same account in two applications/devices at the same time.

1. Click on the program shortcut on the desktop:

2. Log in.

  • In the "Username" field, enter the employee's SIP account, login or email from the personal account in the Ringostat system.

  • In the "Password" field, enter either the SIP password of the employee's account or the password from the personal account in the Ringostat system — depending on what data was entered in the upper field.

  • Click the "Login" button.

At the window, after successful entry of authorization data, select your SIP account and press “Continue”:

Done!

After successful registration, your status in the Ringostat Smart Phone application will be "Online":

Additionally, you have the option to log in using your Google account, as long as it was used to register for your Ringostat account.

To do so:

  • click on the "Sign in with Google" button in the authorization window.

  • Choose the account from the authorization field

Step 4: Configure the application
