To assign a specific number in a project to a tracking channel, you need to create a pool of numbers for it in the corresponding menu item “Number Pools”.

There are several types of pools:

  • for dynamic insertion on the site;

  • for static insertion on the site;

  • for offline statics.

Dynamic insertion

Creating a pool for dynamic insertion on the site:

  1. Provide a pool name.

  2. Select the previously created geo channel.

  3. Select the previously created traffic channel for the pool.

  4. Save your settings.

Before adding a number to the pool, it must pass verification (a successful call must have been made to it within the last 24 hours).

After saving, we add the numbers you need to this pool.

Click on the number in the “Numbers in pool” column:

Next, click on the “Add numbers” button, select the numbers you are interested in and add their pool with the corresponding button. Dynamic pool created!

Numbers recommended

When creating a pool for dynamic insertion, a separate number is assigned to each unique user who navigates to the site from a monitored channel. Therefore, the number of numbers should be identical to the number of users simultaneously on the site. Based on the collection of statistics on the site, our service calculates the required amount of numbers for the dynamic pool.

The column "Numbers recommended" shows the amount of numbers that, at the time of viewing the table, is optimal for this pool. More information is indicated by color coding.

  • Gray —sufficient statistics have not yet been collected to determine the recommended amount of numbers.

  • Green —there are more numbers in the pool than necessary. If you do not plan to increase advertising activity in the near future, the amount of numbers can be reduced.

  • Blue —there are enough numbers in the pool, no additional actions are required.

  • Yellow —there are enough numbers to replace. As traffic increases, we recommend connecting additional numbers.

  • Orange —periods of numbers shortages have been recorded. You need to connect new numbers to collect correct statistics.

  • Red —periods of numbers shortages are regularly recorded. We urgently need to connect additional numbers to collect correct statistics.

To collect statistics correctly, two weeks must have passed since the pool was created.

Static insertion

Creating a pool for static insertion on a website.

Pools with static insertion use strictly one phone number. Such a pool makes it possible to collect information on the number of calls without delving into statistics.

A static pool will replace the number on the site with one number for all visitors.

  1. Provide a pool name.

  2. Activate the “Static substitution” switch and check the
“Use the traffic channel settings as a call source” checkbox.

  3. Choose the previously created geo channel.

  4. Choose the previously created traffic channel for the pool.

  5. Save your settings.

After creating the pool, add one number to it (following the example of a dynamic pool).

Offline static

Collecting statics.

Offline static pools are possible created for all other advertising channels that do not lead to a transition to the site. This could be banner advertising, media advertising, business cards, etc.

  1. Enter his name.

  2. Activate the “Static substitution” switch and check the
“Use the name of the pool as a call source” checkbox.

  3. Save your settings.
