Bria Mobile is a mobile softphone application that allows users to make and receive VoIP calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data. It offers features such as high-quality voice calls, call forwarding, voicemail, and integration with business contacts.

Before starting the app setup, you need to create a SIP account for your Ringostat personal account.

Installing and setting up Bria Mobile: VoIP Softphone

Please note! The Bria app is not our product. Subscription payments are made directly to the developer of this app. The developers offer a 14-day free trial. If you experience issues with the app or if the app does not receive calls in the background, you can always contact Bria support for assistance.

In the App Store, find and download the Bria Mobile: VoIP Softphone app.

After successfully installing the app, you need to launch it and tap “Next”:

Next, choose a subscription:

Please note that the app offers a 14-day trial period, after which funds will be charged to the card linked to your Apple Pay.

After purchasing the subscription, grant the app access to your contacts by tapping the “OK” button, if needed:

Allow the app access to the microphone:

Allow or deny the app access to the camera:

It is also necessary to allow the app to send notifications for background operation:

Accept or decline the program’s terms for improving the product:

Entering data and registering the SIP account

To register your account, go to the VoIP (SIP) - Calling section:

Enter the SIP account details and the domain of our server, then enable it using the “Enabled” switch:

Account Name: any

Display as: SIP-login

Username: SIP-login

Password: SIP-password

Domain: sip.ringostat.com

Agree to work with Push Service:

Allow the app to search for devices on your local network and connect to them:

Tap “Not Now” to avoid restricting the app's use of battery power:

If everything has been done and entered correctly, you will see a successful registration status “Registered”:

Save the settings:

Go to the “Settings” section:

And tap “Close”:

With this, the app setup is complete, and the account is ready for making and receiving calls. Here’s what the main menu of the app looks like:

Changing transport protocol

If you experience issues with one-way audio or cannot register your account for calls, we also recommend changing the data transmission protocol.

Go to the menu:

Next, select “Settings”:

Go to the “Accounts” section:

Select the account where you need to make changes:

Disable the account using the “Enable” switch:

Go to “Account Advanced”:

Select “SIP Transport”:

And select the required protocol: TCP/UDP/TLS

After selecting the required protocol, go back to the main account settings menu and enable the account:

Setting up a STUN server

If the person you're talking to can't hear you, or you can't hear them, which indicates a one-way audio issue, we recommend setting up a STUN server.

Go to the menu:

Next, select “Settings”:

Go to the “Accounts” section:

Select the account where you need to make changes:

Disable the account using the “Enable” switch:

Go to “Account Advanced”:

Go to the “Current Strategy” section:

Select “Custom Configuration”:

Disable “Use DNS SRV,” enter our server stun.ringostat.com:3479, and tap “Done”:

After that, go back to the main settings menu and enable the account:

- Rejecting incoming calls in the app during an active conversation;
