Setting up combined outgoing communication rules

Written by Aleksandra Sydoruk

Thanks to these rules, a single SIP account/employee/department can make calls from different numbers depending on the destination type.

To view the rules of this type that have already been created, use the “Combined” filter above the list of rules. The number next to the filter name shows how many such rules have been created.

You can configure these rules in just a few clicks:

  1. In the “Outgoing communication settings” section, click “Add rule”.

  2. Select the third tab, “Combined”.

  3. Select the caller type. You can configure the rule for SIP accounts, employees, or departments.

  4. Next, select the destination type: country code or prefix.

5. Select a number from the list.

6. After specifying the destination, select the single outgoing number from the list and click “Add rule”.

After adding the rules, do not forget to save them.

Please note!

Calls from the Callback widget will be made according to the outgoing communication rule if the destination of the client’s number matches that rule. If the destination of the number for which the callback was requested does not match any outgoing communication rule, the call will be made from the number assigned to the Callback widget by default.
