Call Forwarding Setup
Creating a call forwarding scheme requires a thoughtful approach and attention to every detail. A properly configured forwarding scheme eliminates the risk of missed calls and optimises the call-handling process.
To set up a forwarding scheme, go to "Settings" – "General Settings" – "Virtual PBX" – "Forwarding" – "Create forwarding scheme":
Next, configure the forwarding scheme settings:
Timeout in seconds — the time during which the call will ring at the specified destination. If no one answers in time, the call will be directed to the next block in the forwarding scheme or marked as missed if the forwarding chain has ended.
The minimum time that can be set in the system is 15 seconds. However, we don't recommend setting time intervals shorter than 30 seconds, as managers won't always have time to answer/pick up the phone.
Forwarding type — call forwarding options by destination:
Sequential forwarding – the call rings sequentially on multiple numbers: 1st, then 2nd, and, if unanswered, 3rd.
Parallel forwarding – the call rings simultaneously on all numbers until one of them is answered.
