Sometimes, when installing the Ringostat Smart Phone program, system errors may occur. The errors are related to the fact that the Ringostat Smart Phone program was created and tested on the latest versions of operating systems. For earlier versions, additional libraries may be required.
We have prepared a list of recommendations for different errors.
1. System errors during installation
"The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME_1.dll / VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. "

For all the listed errors, you should install Microsoft Visual C++ (link to the official website) and only then install our program.

2. "The procedure entry point MFPutWorkItem2 could not be located in the dynamic link library DLL MFPlat.dll"
The solution is to install media codecs:
Windows 10 N/KN (link to official website)
Windows Vista N/KN edition (link to official website)
Any other Windows edition (link to official website)
For Windows 7, 8 unfortunately there are no updates. We suggest installing our Chrome extension.
3. "Exception: Invalid credential data" error
The reason: different time zones at PC and your ringostat project. It was done for security reasons.
The solution: Bring to a unified time zone format.
