Setting Up Telegram Alerts in Eniq.ai

Written by Valentyna Shevchuk

The Telegram integration lets you receive automatic notifications about system events, as well as regular reports with analysis results.

Two types of messages are supported:

  • Alerts — sent when a specified trigger is activated.

  • Reports — sent on a schedule at a set interval.

Step 1. Connecting Telegram

  1. Open the Settings → Integrations section.

  2. Select the Telegram integration.

Step 2. Choosing How to Receive Messages

The system supports two message delivery options:

  • Personal Chat — receive messages in your personal chat with the bot

  • Group Chat — add the bot to a group and receive messages there

Personal Chat

Select the Personal Chat option:

After this, the system will generate a link to the Telegram bot. Follow the link and open a dialogue with the bot by clicking Open in Telegram:

Alternatively, you can copy the link below, paste it into your browser, and proceed from there into Telegram.

Once that's done, launch the bot by clicking "Start":

Next, you'll see the following message confirming a successful connection:

If everything was done correctly, you'll also see the added chat listed in your eniq.ai settings:

Group chat

Add the bot @aicallsupervisorbot to the Telegram group:

Grant the bot the necessary permissions to send messages in the Group Management → Permissions section:

Copy the command that will be displayed in the integration settings in your eniq.ai account:

Here is the command:

Enter this command in Telegram in your group and receive confirmation of the settings:

Also, after refreshing the page, the information will appear here as well:

Alert Settings

Alerts are sent automatically when specified conditions or triggers are met.

To create a new alert:

  1. Open the Alerts & Reports tab.

  2. Go to the Alerts section.

  3. Click Add Alert

Configuring Alert Parameters

Define the trigger — the event or condition — that should prompt a message to be sent.

For example:

  • detection of a critical error in the conversation;

  • low call score;

  • script violation;

  • use of certain keywords;

  • other available triggers (the trigger is selected from your prompt's parameters).

Example of alert configuration:

If needed, you can configure multiple triggers — the alert will fire once any one of the triggers is met.

You can also add filters to send alerts not on every trigger activation, but only under certain conditions. For example, if it's a call from a specific employee:

You can add several filters; the matching conditions depend on whether you select OR (if a match occurs on either parameter) or AND (if both parameters match on the call). For example:

Choose the maximum number of messages the bot can send per hour:

If needed, you can also set up a custom message template:

Once you've finished configuring everything, click Save.
The alert will start working immediately after activation.

Metadata

You can add information to your alerts that Eniq.ai receives as metadata (for example, the client's number). To do this, the prompt analysing the conversation — the one you're configuring alerts for — must have this parameter specified in the Metadata section:

This metadata must be passed via a webhook from your telephony system or entered manually when uploading the conversation's audio recording.

Report Settings

Reports let you regularly receive summarised information about the system's performance and analysis results.

To create a new report, open the Alerts & Reports tab, go to the Scheduled reports section, and click Add report.

Configuring Report Parameters

1. Specify the report name, the chat the report should be sent to, and select a prompt:

2. Sending Frequency

Choose how often the report should be generated:

  • daily;

  • weekly;

  • monthly;

And choose the time the report should be sent:

3. Choose a Report Template

You can choose between Standard or Compact:

If needed, you can set up a custom report template that will define the report's structure and content.

For example, the report can include:

  • overall call statistics;

  • main issues;

  • positive trends;

  • recommendations for improving the team's performance;

  • analysis of specific metrics.

For example:
