Usually, you can't set up SMS receiving/sending to/from virtual numbers due to the limitations of telecom operators
But Ringostat has several options for setting up this functionality.
Let's take a closer look
Sending SMS using TurboSMS
If you have the TurboSMS service connected, you can send messages to customers using our application.
All the details of connecting this service are described here
ATTENTION! At the moment, unfortunately, there is no technical possibility to receive return SMS, the TurboSMS service is used only for mailings
You can send SMS in several ways:
Through the main menu of the application
To do this, enter the number in full format with a + at the beginning. Then click on the SMS icon
Through other sections (call history, clients on the website, contact book), provided that you have had contact with the client before
For example, you have previously called a customer and want to write a message to them. To do this, just go to the Call history section, find your call with the client, and click on the contact to select Message:
Enter the text and click Send
Select a TurboSMS account
Your message has been successfully sent
Receiving SMS to DIDWW operator numbers
DIDWW is an international operator that allows you to connect virtual numbers in the USA, Canada and some European countries
If a virtual number of this operator is connected in the project, then on some numbers (not all) you can configure the forwarding of incoming SMS messages to any e-mail
To clarify the possibility of such a setting on your number, please contact our technical support chat
Please note!
1.This functionality works only with receiving SMS to e-mail, it is not possible to send a return SMS to the client
2.You can set up SMS forwarding from 1 number to 1 e-mail
Receiving/sending SMS to/from Peoplefone mobile numbers
There are 2 ways to set up SMS to virtual numbers of this operator:
1. SMS forwarding to e-mail (similar to the way described above with DIDWW numbers).
2. Sending/receiving SMS using our Ringostat Smart Phone application (we configure it on request in the technical support chat)
Let's take a closer look at working with SMS through our application
Sending:
Enter the number in full format and with a + at the beginning. Next, click on the SMS icon
Enter the text and click Send
Select the number from which you want to send an SMS
Your message has been successfully sent
Receiving:
When you receive a request from a customer via SMS, you will be shown a notification of an incoming request
The tab displays how many messages are waiting for your response so that you can process them one by one
When a manager accepts a dialog, the correspondence is displayed in the Messenger section
You can also set up SMS receipt by a specific employee
To do this, in the Employees section, add a phone number from which SMS will be sent to a specific employee
With this setting, SMS to the selected number will immediately be sent to the assigned employee in the application
Actions with dialogs
You can close a dialog(1), call the client directly(2), open a client insider(3), or transfer the dialog to another colleague(4)
After closing a chat with SMS
this dialog will be displayed in the Message Log after an hour:
